There are a plethora of diets plans that insist you can achieve your perfect weight by fat loss, but in the main most of them just don't do what they say on the tin! If you're somebody like me, then you are definitely a member of the fat loss idiots club who like to think that they can reach their perfect weight through weight loss supplements and fad diets. You will most probably end up dispirited though and in all probability, heavier than you started out.
Don't get me wrong, there are a few ways that help in the weight loss department, but then again there are a hell of a lot more that don't! There are a whole host of reasons to explain why you are overweight, and it is these precise reasons that you have to take a look at when figuring how to best achieve fat loss.
If you're thinking about a low calorie diet, then think again. They are dangerous! Starving your body or eating very few calories can be harmful to your body, not to mention the ability to make you miserable. As the body adjusts to the new calories levels you are consuming, this type of diet may work for a short period of time but in the long term it will not. You will either discover that you may put on weight, or reach a peak before you the desired weight is reached.
A diet with low carbohydrate is also dangerous and can make you very grumpy into the bargain. Admittedly they do work for some, but is there really any point in being at your ideal weight without being able to enjoy it? Carbohydrates are energy givers, so removing them will leave you with very little energy and unable to do the things you would usually enjoy doing. You would struggle to find a restaurant that served dinners which were low in calories or carbohydrates, for example, so that particular piece of fun goes out the window. You would then find yourself spending time sat in your house, studying the low carb diet fads on the internet while wishing you could be at the restaurant with your other half or your friends!
Do not betaken in by the quick fixes as these usually do not work; and they definitely won't do any good for fat loss in the long term! One diet program we DO recommend though, is the marvellous Fat Loss 4 Idiots . They say you can lose 11lbs in nine days - and we know that that is true!
